After an early career in fashion design, Patricia Fox brought her creative eye and meticulous attention to detail to landscape design, founding Aralia in 2004. Since then, she has established an award-winning practice working on projects ranging from sophisticated urban terraces to expansive country estates. Her work combines a refined, contemporary aesthetic with a thoughtful response to architecture and landscape, creating gardens that are as practical as they are beautiful.

Patricia’s work has been recognised with numerous industry accolades, including two RHS Chelsea Flower Show Silver Medals and multiple BALI Landscape Design Excellence Awards. Alongside leading Aralia, she lectures and mentors other designers, including through the Society of Garden and Landscape Designers, sharing the professional and commercial experience gained from more than two decades of running her own practice.

At The English Gardening School, Patricia tutors on the Essential Garden Design Diploma with a particular focus on the business of garden design. Drawing on her own experience of building and marketing a successful studio, she gives students practical insight into establishing a practice, attracting clients and developing the confidence and professional skills needed to turn good design into a thriving career.
