Ashleigh Auckland
Strategic Marketing and Growth
Ash brings a background in fashion, luxury travel and brand marketing to the world of horticulture. After studying Garden Design at The English Gardening School, she established her own garden design practice and now leads marketing at EGS, combining her experience in storytelling and design with a deep passion for gardens.
Cecile Hyett
Content Lead
Cecile is a creative marketer specialising in branding, social media and content. Having worked with brands across the luxury and lifestyle sectors she is now helping to communicate the school's knowledge, character and distinctive approach, combining her wealth of experience with a growing appreciation for gardens and garden design.
Jo Megaw
Editor
Jo spent many years writing for national newspapers before pursuing her love for gardening through the EGS Good Gardening Diploma. She went on to complete the Essential Garden Design Diploma, and now combines her two passions, gardening and writing, editing the EGS Substack while designing gardens near her home in West Berkshire.
Catherine Scholfield
Office Administration
Catherine has been keeping The English Gardening School running smoothly since 2015 after a career in film and television. Entirely new to gardening then, she claims her green fingers still only extend to sowing mustard & cress, but she takes huge pleasure watching EGS students grow in knoweldge and confidence.
