Ann-Marie Powell is an award-winning garden designer whose vibrant, naturalistic landscapes have helped shape contemporary British garden design for almost three decades. Founder of the acclaimed practice Ann-Marie Powell Gardens, established in 1998, she has created exceptional private, commercial and public gardens throughout the UK, alongside internationally recognised show gardens celebrated for their bold planting, biodiversity and ecological approach.

A Gold Medal winner at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival, Ann-Marie has also designed permanent gardens at RHS Garden Wisley, serves as an RHS Flower Show Judge and Garden Selection Panel member, and was made a Fellow of the Society of Garden Designers in recognition of her contribution to the profession. Her work has been recognised repeatedly by House & Garden, Country & Town House and Gardens Illustrated as among the very best in British garden design.

Alongside leading her award-winning studio, Ann-Marie is an author, journalist and television presenter, regularly sharing her expertise through books, national publications and broadcast media. At The English Gardening School, she tutors on the Garden Design Diploma, bringing an inspiring combination of creative vision, practical experience and a passion for designing gardens that place plants, people and nature at their heart.
