Great Dixter - Autumn 2012
Our Distance Learning courses are specially written by Rosemary Alexander for students who cannot attend the School in person. Based on our Diploma curriculum, they are carefully structured to guide students working at home through the learning process. All submissions are sent via email for marking
The courses are very flexible and can be started at any time. You will be given a personal tutor who will assess your progress and return your work quickly with constructive comments. Each chapter includes exercises which you complete on your own to re-enforce the text, and a Project which you return to us for marking and our constructive comments, leading to actual results for your garden.
As the studying is progressive, you will be able to implement concepts and practical tips on an on-going basis. By the end of the course you will have gained a thorough understanding of your chosen subject and will have accumulated a portfolio of completed exercises and projects. All we ask is that the courses are completed within 3 years of enrolment.
On satisfactory completion you will receive your graded English Gardening School Certificate. And of course you will have the satisfaction and pleasure of having created a wonderful new garden for yourself or a friend.
Enrolment is open to all and can be started at any time of year. To apply or for more information on a course please select from the courses below:
